Opis firmy The EIB, the European Union’s bank, is seeking to recruit for its Directorate for Lending Operations in Europe - New Products and Special Transactions Department - JESSICA and Investment Funds Division a:Specific Responsibilities
Ensure the timely and correct execution of administrative procedures and the control of transactions
Monitor budget execution and take appropriate follow up actions, in consultation with line managers
Check compliance with relevant legal documentation and procedures
Prepare cost reports for Holding Funds, as provided for in the relevant funding agreements
Draft and follow up on correspondence with counterparties
Process invoices, as required
Ensure that all input in the relevant IT systems is complete, consistent and meets quality standards
Provide support to internal and external counterparties
Contribute to the further development of the budget process and of appropriate monitoring and reporting tools
Assist with the set up, improvement and review of general procedures
Provide analytical, research and other professional support for JESSICA and Investment Funds (JIF) activities
Qualifications
A University degree in a Business related subject
An additional professional qualification (ACA, ACCA) would be considered an advantage
At least 3 years’ professional experience gained in a Middle/Back Office or Audit function, ideally within the Financial Services sector
Good understanding of financial and legal documentation
Previous exposure to equity, loan or guarantee products
Practical experience of Structural Funds would be a distinct advantage
Proven IT skills, including in-depth knowledge of MS Office applications, Business Objects and databases;
Excellent command of English, both written and oral. Good command of French. Knowledge of other European languages would be an advantage
