Speciality Doctor in Anaesthetics
Full time role – 1 year contract with a view to permanence
Essex - 45 Minutes from Central London
Salary: £36807-£68638 per annum

We have a superb opportunity, for a middle grade (Speciality Doctor) Anaesthetist just outside of London. This is initially a 1 year post, with a view to making it a substantive post. The hospital provides a comprehensive range of acute medical and surgical services. The hospital employees just under 3500 whole time equivalent staff and covers a population of just over 330 000 in a 928 bed hospital.
The mid-sized town it is located on the North bank of the Thames estuary. It is a seaside resort town with excellent transport links into London, very good primary and secondary schools, colleges and a large university.
The anaesthetics department comprises of 21 Consultants, each with their own special interest, 13 x Staff/Trust Grades, 4 x Clinical Fellows, 7 x SpR / ST3 and above on rotation from Barts and the London School of Anaesthesia, 6 x Specialist Core Trainee’s 2 and below and 2 ACCS
3 x FY2’s.

In this role, you will provide anaesthetics cover for a range of surgical specialities, over 10PA per week. Very occasionally, you’ll be asked to cover and participate in a 1 in 9 on call rota. You’ll need Full GMC registration, with a licence to practice.Our Healthcare consultants will support you with:

• Completing the necessary documents
• Registration process with the relevant Medical Councils
• Booking a flight and finding accommodation
• When you start the work, our consultants will assist you while acclimatizing to the new work place
